Frequently Asked Questions

What do I get at the end of the project?

When your design is complete, you will receive 3D renderings, CAD plans for your landscape contractors, plant list, and suggested materials used in your design.

Can I make any revisions?

After receiving your initial design, we will collect your feedback and deliver it back to the design team. Feel free to ask questions, share thoughts, or any additional feedback you may have. Then we will make the final adjustments to your design. (This includes the revised renderings and CAD plans to give to your contractor) After you have selected a contractor to build your project, we expect that your contractor may make changes in the field.

What types of landscape features can be included in my design?

Custom water features, lighting, pergolas & other shade structures, outdoor bars/kitchens, conceptual pool design, hardscape, plants, decks, patios, furniture, planters, gardens, gazebos, and lawns. If you think of something we’re missing, feel free to ask!

Who’s the best company to build your design?

Great question! We’ve seen everything from people seeking the highest rated landscapers in the valley, to making a selection based off of a friend’s recommendation, and we’ve even seen those who are bold enough to do it on their own. We can also refer you to some great landscape builders that we’ve met over the years.

When should we get started?

Whenever you’re ready to see your vision come to life! We suggest planning ahead, especially if you have a deadline you’re looking to meet. Most clients we work with start projects 3-6 months prior to building it. The sooner we start, the sooner you will get your completed plans, and be able to get them to your builder.

How do you design within a budget?

We are totally transparent with what you will be able to accomplish with your budget. We will attempt to meet your target budget or design your ideal space to be built in phases.

Can you blend my landscapes together?

Absolutely! We take pride in being able to blend the existing landscape that you love, with the new space we are designing.

Do I have to know exactly what I want?

Not necessarily. Our design process is full of resources and inspiration that can help guide your design. In addition to making personal recommendations, we encourage our clients to browse our online portfolio and Houzz ideabooks for fresh inspiration.

Do I have to wait until the end to see it in 3D?

No, we committ to rendering your landscape design in 3D throughout the process. That way you get to experience it each step of the way, not just at the end!

We’re looking to get this done quickly, does this take a long time?

Our initial design process typically takes three to four weeks. For large properties, averaging half an acre or more, the timeframe may take an additional week or two to receive the initial design.
